I'm a speech therapist, but I am far from the clinic since 2008. I was presented to the scrapbook world in 2008 when we were living in Brasilia and ever since then, I am delighted by this art. The blog began in July 2010 in order to share what I really like: crafts, sewing, decoration, tours and travels with children, books and the growing of my children.

International Matchbox Swap

I joined my first swap this month. I thought it would be fun to join because it was international.

Hi everyone I hope that you enjoyed your Christmas!! Did you get any new crafty goodies? I sure hope you did!!! Our Christmas was super fun with much laughter and unforgettable moments. I dont want to bore you but here is a little story my Godson was diagnosed with diabetes at age 2, so it really breaks my heart that he cannot enjoy any goodies anytime he wants... so I always try to make something that all the kids can eat and enjoy at the same time. So this year, I wanted to give him something extra special and we gave him a 3ds for ohhh myyyy he was such in shock that I really thought that I was going to take a ride to the ER. :/ for a second it was not cool.... but I know that he loving his new toy and I'm so glad he is.

Whoohooo I'm on a roll here today second post of the day!!! Okay guys so a few days ago I was online searching for some pink and brown wallpaper and I came across this wonderful website Simplethingssweetlife and I just fell in love with this awesome paper, after reading her post she mentioned that she purchase it at Dollar Tree Store. I must of contact about 6 to 7 Dollar tree store in my area so I can pick up some. If you personality know me you know how much I love pink and brown. So I finally found a store and I took the drive to find these adorable wrapping paper, I have to admit I purchased all there was left... but I'm so happy I did.

Happy wednesday everyone!

I hope that your enjoying yourself and counting down til Christmas.... I sure can't wait!!!! It's not for me that I'm excited about... its for my Son and GodSon.... They have no clue what's waiting for them. After some thought we (me & my fiancee) decided to purchase the new Nintendo 3DS (3d) Oh my!!! I looked at it yesterday and its so cool (I admit I was having fun playing) lol You know we all like gadgets (mac, Iphone, new cricut machines and more cricut machines... and some more cricut machines... LOL We gotta love them all. I can't blame the kids not waiting new toys too.

Anyways onto my projects:

After spending many many hours on Christmas Card orders this year...UGHH!!! I was so out of energy, but I was finally able to finish them all and post. yayyy!!!

Black Friday Pink Expression Bundle & Happy Birthday Card (Parabens pra voce)

Happy Tuesday!!!

Hi everyone, I hope that your having a great week so far!! Today was such a happy day my pink expression bundle that I purchased on black friday finally arrived... it took a while but I was so happy that it was here. Anyways, I was doing a cool tutorial for you all unboxing it and its was going really well until I turned the machine on. The module has two wheels that sit on the tracking pad, so one wheel was not property in the track. So the belt didn't reset all the way back to its proper position. I was so upset I thought I had to call cricut and advise of the situation. ... but then after looking at it I thought that maybe I could fix it :0) after all it was only one wheel that was not on the track. I was finally able to fix it all by myself. Boy I was happy that I didn't had to contact Cricut and I didn't have to wait another month for a replacement. :) whooohoooo!!!!! hopefully I won't encounter any issues again. Have you ever had any issues with your machines? I sure hope that it was easy to fix. :0( I know we get frustrated when our machines are not working properly.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!!

Today I want to make a special post to all my readers. It is because of all of you that I'am inspired to do new creations. I just want to say that I am grateful for all of you who take time out of your day to read my blog. Even if you don't like what I say or get angry with me. :( Special thanks to my regulars and those who post comments. I sure value your time and efforts.

I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope that you are enjoying your time with your family.

Here are a few pictures of my Thanksgiving day! I was so busy with turkey that I didn't have the time to do any crafting to decor... but I was able to print out these wonderful cards and I left one for each one to write what they are thankful for...

Before lunch everyone took the time to write what they were Thankful. The kids were the first ones. After we were done I hang each card in the wall.

First I added chocolate mix into one cone shape bag

Soon I'll celebrate another wonderful moment by getting Engaged and calling the man in my life my Fiance!!! I purchase my first Cricut in February and now I own most of their machines except for the Imagine. Recently, I discovered the world of stamping and card-making which enhanced my view of crafting. With that discovery it inspired me to create my own stamp line.

Hello my name is Jovan, I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years. I'm a stay at home mom of three. Two boys and a lovely girl. I just recently moved to Colorado. I'm a midwest girl but I'm loving the mountain scenery. I've been crafting off and on for 14 years. I started my first and ONLY scrapbook after my first son was born. I loved it but didn't like how much I was spending on one book so I stopped. I would make stuff here and there, then I was doing the projects from my cousins wedding and saw a cricut at a local scrapbook store and knew I had to have one. I then became HOOKED on making cards. I have been making cards heavily for 3 years and absolutely love it! I now have a whole room reflecting my addiction...LOL. I am looking forward to supplying you with lots of inspiration!

I am a full-time social service worker, but that does not stop me from daydreaming about paper, glue, embellishments, and glitter all day! I am constantly writing down ideas and conversations that "need" to be documented! Every since I can remember I have kept some sort of journal or altered notebook to keep my thoughts, photographs, and inspirations pieces, but I officially started scrapbooking about 14 years ago when my first son was born. I am amazed at how the world of crafting has expanded, and I am always searching to learn new things to apply to my creations. While I have dabbled in many creative hobbies throughout the years I find that scrapbooking is the perfect outlet for me to express all the random daily thoughts that I want to remember as well as the milestone events for my family. When I am not working or crafting I can be found spending time with my husband and our two sons (ages 14 and 9) and our sweet bulldog, chatting it up with my friends and extended family, walking or riding my bike at the park, or watching movies or my favorite television programs. I lead a simple, quiet, happy life that revolves around living, loving, laughing and scrapbooking!

Hi everyone! First of all I would like to apologize for my tardiness on announcing my first time Design Team Members. I had a baby shower this weekend and my friend asked me to bake her cake. Happy weekend everyone! I been a little tied up in my craft patio with some of the projects below. Also been organizing my schedule for next week. Can't wait, I have my friends baby shower coming soon and I'm so honored to bake the cake for her also I been planning another event which I cannot talk about it right... because it would ruin the surprise for someone oh yeah!!! and on top of that I have my CTMH Class in two weeks!! yayy can't wait for that also. I love to have the girls over and just hang out and having fun. Okay so onto my project for today.

Art Philosophy - 3-D Pumpkin & Giveaway!

Hi everyone, I hope that your having an awesome week. I can't believe tomorrow is thursday already. Whoooohooo!!! Well today I wanted to give you a tutorial on this adorable 3-d pumpkin made with the Art Philosophy Cartridge, boy I been using this one non-stop. I seem to use it a lot more than any other cartridge. Okay so onto my tutorial.

For this project I used:

CTMH - Art Philosophy Cartridge

CTMH - Celebration Stamp Set

First using orange/red summer collection I cut 6 designed circle scallops at 3 3/4''.

Second I cut 2 leafs at 2''.

Third using Dreaming paperstock, I cut the flower at 4 3/4''.

Forth I cut a scallop rectangle at 1''.

Scored all 6 circle scallops, flower and rectangle in the middle.

Glued all ends of scallop circle together and put it together. After all glue is dry. I made a hole in the middle of the flower to slide the rectangle threw.

Docerela Stamps Design team call

Hey everyone!

Have you ever wanted to be in a design team and you were not qualified or your projects were just to simple?? Well I know how you feel... because I been there. So now its time to turn that around and put if behinds us.... because

Today I am SO excited we are finally having our very first Docerela Stamps Design Team Call!!! I so hope that you will consider applying! Docerela Stamps has released a few stamp set and I am hoping to have an awesome Design Team behind me to help me out :) I will be putting together a very small team that will just be responsible for creating projects and representing my Docerela stamps.

Here are all the details!!

Benefits of being a member of Docerela Stamps Design Team:

DT members will receive all Docerela Stamps FREE!
Receive the stamps before anyone else!
As a DT member if you have any thoughts/ideas of stamp sets you would like to see I will do my best to make that happen!
An adorable blinkie for your blog!
I will be showing you off here on my blog as well!
All around just having fun and making some new friends! :)

What is required of Docerela Stamps Design Team members?:

Must love sentiment stamps! You will be required to use our stamps on each project you submit for the Design Team
DT period will be for one quarter - October, November, December. (I'm a little late this month with so much going on here, but I think we can pull it off.
Current DT members will have priority to choose to remain on the team for later quarters
DT members will be expected to post 2 projects per month using my Docerela stamps on designated dates
DT members will be expected to send pictures of their projects to me prior to the post date
DT members will be expected to take quality pictures of their projects. If you need help with editing that is not a problem, we can help you!
